Recently, the “Rank with Charlie” team evaluated a customer’s website for over 100 keywords. Here is the success story that was shared.
The website specializes in things that are suitable for children. The niche is really competitive because there are a lot of large fish in it. Google ought to have displayed the website on the first page as a result. For a number of reasons, we are unable to identify the website. The customer approached us with the website in the first part of May. In order to help her make a little sale, she asked that we rank the website for a few keywords within the following three to four months. Still, a new website had to work hard to rank well in those categories because the keywords were so competitive.
About 30–35 articles make up a new website. Most of them focused on highly competitive keywords. As such, it was a challenging situation for us. We approached her and gave her the rundown. We advised her to optimize the website for profitable yet low-competitive keywords. She could envision the scene and encouraged us to approach it nonetheless. Her only concern was increasing sales. Our team got to work tackling it.
To rank the website, we used the generic SEO procedure.
We started by focusing on the website’s current SEO. We conducted an SEO analysis for this. As a result, we found numerous severe SEO and technical issues on-page. Every concern was identified and put on the back burner for eventual resolution.
Based on the primary terms she focused on, we examined the competitors. As we previously mentioned, we found multiple huge fish engaged in combat on the first two pages of the search results. The DA and PA ratings of these webpages are high. Therefore, we had to establish our authority before taking on such sites. As a result, we choose to stop using the current keywords and concentrate on new ones.
To find some advantageous yet less competitive terms for her website, we engaged our team of keyword research experts. We focused more on helpful keywords than competitive ones. Roughly ten to twelve keywords with potential for ranking were found. Search activity for the keywords could have been higher.
We decided to move forward with those.
Once our content writers received their keywords, we asked them to create excellent pieces based on the keywords. All the articles did was point readers in the direction of the information and places they wanted to go. Furthermore, the articles had the most recent data, something that several of the rivals did not. We found this gap after closely examining the rivals. Observing these gaps while aiming for a higher score would be beneficial.
We started by utilizing the pre-existing content on the website as our writers produced excellent pieces. We found numerous significant flaws in the on-page SEO. At first, the meta titles and descriptions were accurate. After that, our experts focused on improving the effectiveness of the article’s current keywords.
Finally, those titles were fixed a bit.
The technical aspects of the website were then our focus. Like most websites we’ve tried, the speed could have been better. For this reason, we focused on quickening the pace. We have to work very hard at it. Nonetheless, the effort paid off.
We also improved the site’s architecture, updated a few URLs, and corrected mistakes. We frequently released articles highlighting on-page SEO while we were at it. In addition, we looked up a few more keywords that might score well. This time, we gave money keywords top priority.
Following the technical issues, we focused on acquiring high-caliber backlinks from websites with DA rankings. Our objective was to drive traffic from those websites and increase authority at the same time. We made an effort to establish links from websites that are relevant to our sector and where customers might land on our site while looking for a solution.
Despite having few opportunities, our workers were able to establish contacts with reliable websites. After that, the process of finding keywords and writing content carried on. We generated 22 articles and found about 25 keywords during the investigation. One of the main concerns at the time the articles were released was internal linkage.
In this section, we focused on utilizing fresh keywords to boost website traffic. As a result, we focused on finding fresh, profitable keywords and writing content around them. After writing five or six articles in the first month, we noticed an increase in traffic when two keywords instantly ranked on the first page. In the second month, the website appeared on the first page for about 20–21 keywords. Of those, six were selected. The remainder transpired naturally. We launched about ten works this month. When we published the last of the articles in the third month, we saw that the website was ranking highly for about ninety terms. By the end of the third month, it was the number-one website for twenty-five different keywords. In the following four months, the website showed up for 204 different keywords on the first page of search results. For over fifty of those terms, it came up top. In the second month, our customer started making sales. The narrative of our delight and honor is that the number of orders in the fourth month practically tripled compared to the figure in the second month. It is the tale of how we ranked a website for more than 200 keywords in less than 120 days and assisted our customers in boosting sales.
We are currently trying to increase the website’s authority and compete with the big fish for competitive keywords after discussing with our customers. We know that this journey will take a while. She wants to invest more money in SEO because she now finds it enjoyable. For this, we have already planned something. Now, we are analyzing the field’s leading players and looking for any weaknesses they might have. We will evaluate the main competitors, pinpoint their shortcomings, and try to outperform them in the market.
The journey was easy enough, although it was a touch long. Our client wanted to generate some revenue from the website. Thus, we focused on finding the unexplored keywords in order to rank higher more quickly. It made it possible for us to fulfill every request from our clients. For the following phase, we are putting in a lot of effort. This time, too, we hope to succeed. Let’s observe while we wait. Another case study will be provided to you for this project, which will govern the remaining work.
